Hilltop House is perfect if you're looking for something a bit more modern without sacrificing any of that special country feel. Custom built in 1959, Hilltop House boasts plenty of sunny windows, a large kitchen with table, dining room, view of the creek and newly constructed horse barn, and gardens from the kitchen window. With all the conveniences of a modern home, this two bedroom, 1.5 bath can easily accommodate up to 7 guests on the first floor. Guests have complete use of the first floor, deck with patio table, garden, and fenced yard and fire pit.
Hilltop's lower level is completely separate and has a private rear entrance where the owner or caretaker stay to take care of livestock and be available to help guests during their stay. The upper floor attic is used for storage and not available to guests.
This bright and cheery home sleeps 6-7 and features the following:
Base rate $180 per night (Sun - Thurs) - $195 per night (Fri - Sat/Holidays) for 1st guest.
TWO night minimum stay requested.
Deposit for 1st night's stay is non-refundable and due at time of booking. (Owner will always work with guests to reschedule for up to one year if needed).
Additional guests of all ages - $20 per person, per night.
One time cleaning fee: $100.
Effective July 1, 2023 15% State and local tax rates apply.
Dog and horse friendly with prior owner approval.
$35 one time fee for 1 dog for entire stay. Additional dogs $15 each per stay.
Fleas/pet stain, waste removal (if required) will incur a $100 fee
Horses $20/ night - bedding/water provided. Bring your own buckets, horse feed and hay.
Self check-in available with key safe.

Check-in time after 3:00 pm. Check-out time 10:00 am.
No smoking in buildings. Guests may smoke outdoors.
Damage to property may incur up to a $250.00 fee.
Pets must have current flea and tick protection.
Owner's farm animals live on property.

WATER CONSERVATION:
Please note that we are NOT on city water and sewer. We have our own well and septic. Please keep showers short, and space out during the day.
Cooling off in the creek can be a fun alternative.
In especially dry conditions, please conserve water. Thank you!
We provide bottled Spring water for those who prefer it to drink, or to make coffee/ tea or lemonade - this also helps us to conserve water.
